This is koyo. Koyo is a famous sight of autumn. I love koyo. I see the koyo every year. The colors are red, orange, and yellow. These colors are very beautiful.
Now, let's talk about koyo. In autumn, many people go out. Many people go to the park. I go to the mountains, too. I see the koyo. There is koyo at temples, too. Many people go to temples, too. Japanese people enjoy watching the koyo.
They enjoy the beautiful scenery. Many people take photos. I like taking photos, too. There are famous koyo spots. People even travel there. I want to travel there, too. This year, I want to go somewhere. I haven't decided yet.
Where do you see koyo? Is it a park? Or is it a mountain? Koyo is beautiful, no matter where you are. Cherry blossoms are short-lived. But koyo lasts a long time. Japan is long, from north to south. The places are different. Hokkaido is early.
Okinawa is late. It's koyo season from September to November. In Hokkaido, September is koyo season. In Kyushu, November is koyo season. Japan really is long, from south to north, isn't it? That's why the koyo season is so long. Which time do you like? I like November.
November is cool. And it's lovely. Koyo is lovely at any time. It's become autumn. The weather has gotten nice. Mornings and evenings are cool. Afternoons are still warm. Autumn weather is good for me. Summer was hot. It was tough.
Now, I feel great. In the morning, I walk in the park. I enjoy the koyo in the park. I bring coffee with me. I drink coffee in the park. It feels really nice. Autumn is a good season for walks. At night, I read a book at home.
Autumn nights are long. Autumn is a season that's good for your body. In autumn, there's a lot of delicious food. This is 'autumn appetite.' In autumn, you get hungry. That's why we eat all kinds of things. In autumn, there are sweet potatoes. We bake the sweet potatoes.
They're sweet. And they're delicious. Chestnuts are also an autumn food. Chestnut rice is very popular. I make chestnut rice. Pacific saury is also an autumn fish. We grill the saury and eat it. Saury is very delicious.
Autumn is a season of good food. It's very delicious. There's a lot of good food in autumn. What do you want to eat? I love roasted sweet potatoes the most. Next Saturday, I'm heading to the mountains. My friend is coming with me, too. We'll eat a boxed lunch at the mountain.
