All prices are tax-inclusive and include everything you need: live lessons, pre-recorded videos, practice app access, learning materials, and your completion certificate. No hidden fees.

Not at all. Our Beginner 1 course is suitable for absolute beginners. You'll start from the very beginning, learning Hiragana and basic phrases in a supportive environment. We also provide free access to pre-recorded video lessons so you can familiarize yourself with the basics before your first live class if you'd like.

Each course runs for 10 weeks with one 105-minute live lesson per week via Zoom. During these interactive sessions, your certified native Japanese teacher introduces new topics and grammar, then guides the class through practical exercises and conversation practice. Between lessons, you can review with our pre-recorded videos and practice with our app. By the end of 10 weeks, you'll have completed one full level of Japanese proficiency.

If you've never studied Japanese, start with Beginner 1 course. If you have some experience, we recommend taking our placement questionnaire or reviewing our course curriculum to find your level. Both tools take just a few minutes and ensure you'll be challenged without feeling overwhelmed.

Yes. All our teachers are native Japanese speakers who hold professional teaching certifications. This sets us apart from platforms where teachers may be native speakers but lack formal training in language education. Our teachers understand how to break down complex concepts, correct pronunciation effectively, and create an encouraging classroom environment where you'll feel comfortable practicing.

Life happens, and we understand. If you need to miss a class, you'll receive an email indicating the topics covered during the class so that you can study these on your own with our free video courses. You can watch the lessons at your own pace and still join the following week's session. Our teachers also dedicate the first few minutes of each class to quick review, so you'll never feel lost. To receive your completion certificate, you'll need to attend at least 8 of the 10 live lessons.

You'll spend 105 minutes in your weekly live lesson. Beyond that, we recommend dedicating at least 90 minutes per week to self-study using our video lessons and practice app. This brings your total to about 3-3.5 hours per week. Students who dedicate this time consistently see the best results and feel confident progressing to the next level.

No additional costs. Everything is included in your course fee: all learning materials, access to our video library, the practice app, and your completion certificate. You won't need to purchase textbooks or pay for any extras. The price you see is the complete price.

Within 24 hours of enrollment, you'll receive a welcome email with access to our complete video library and vocabulary flashcards. You can start learning immediately if you'd like. We'll also send you a Google Calendar invitation with your weekly Zoom lesson schedule so it's automatically in your calendar. Before your first class, you'll receive a welcome guide with tips for getting the most out of your 10 weeks with us.
