Not at all. Our Level 1: Foundational intensive course is suitable for absolute beginners. If you have some prior experience, our quick placement questionnaire will ensure you start at the most effective level to maximize your progress. All students also receive free access to our pre-recorded video lessons to prepare and reinforce learning.
If you are completely new to Japanese, our Level 1: Foundational intensive course is your ideal starting point. If you have learned Japanese in the past, take our placement questionnaire, or consult our curriculum, to find the most suitable intensive level.
Once your payment is confirmed, within 24 hours, you'll receive an enrollment confirmation email with full access to our Japanese video courses and vocabulary flashcards. You'll also get Google Calendar invitations for your two (2) weekly live Zoom lessons, scheduled for your convenience.
Yes! All our Japanese teachers are native and fully certified as professional Japanese teachers. This sets us apart from other learning websites where teachers may be native but have not received official training for teaching the language.
In addition to your two (2) weekly 105-minute live lessons, we recommend dedicating at least 90 extra minutes a week to self-study. We provide comprehensive vocabulary flashcards and video lessons to help you review and deepen your understanding, which is crucial for rapid progress in an intensive course.
Our Intensive Japanese Online Courses costs USD$449 or JPY ¥59,900 for a one-time payment, or USD$49 per week or JPY ¥6,400 per week for 10 weeks (total USD$490 or JPY ¥64,000). These prices are inclusive of all materials and app access, with no hidden fees.
Not at all. We provide students with exclusive Japanese learning material created by our native Japanese teachers. As a student, you don't need to purchase any books nor pay for the materials we provide you with.
Our Intensive Japanese Online Courses are developed for learners who are 14 years old or older. For younger learners, we recommend exploring alternative learning options specifically designed for that age group.
Up to 3 days before the week in which the course starts, if you need to withdraw from our course for personal reasons, we give you a full refund minus a USD$33 or JPY¥4,900 processing fee.
Up to 7 days after your first live lesson, if you are not satisfied with the quality of our course, we give you a full refund minus a USD$99 or JPY¥14,900 administrative fee, provided you let us know why you are not satisfied. After this period, no refunds are made.
